What is in-home supportive care?

It is non-medical help with everyday activities such as bathing, dressing, meals, housekeeping, errands and companionship, provided in the client’s own home.

Do your caregivers give medications?

Our caregivers provide verbal reminders and cues so clients take their prescribed medications on time. They do not administer medication.

How many hours of care can we schedule?

Care is flexible. Families choose anything from a few hours a week to daily visits or longer shifts, and the plan can change as needs change.

Can you help someone living with dementia?

Yes. Our supervision and safety monitoring helps prevent wandering and falls, and our caregivers use calm routines that reduce confusion.

What does the free consultation include?

We talk through your loved one’s needs and routine, answer your questions, and arrange an in-home assessment to build a written care plan.

Will we have the same caregiver each visit?

We match each client with a regular caregiver whenever possible, so your loved one sees a familiar face and the routine stays consistent.

Can we change the care plan later?

Yes. We review care plans regularly and adjust services and schedules whenever needs change.

Do you offer respite care for family caregivers?

Yes. Respite care gives family caregivers a break for a few hours, a day or longer while we care for their loved one at home.

Which areas do you serve?

We serve every community in Mecklenburg, Gaston and Lincoln counties, including Charlotte and the surrounding towns.

How quickly can care start?

In many cases we can begin within a few days of the in-home assessment. Call us and we will tell you what is possible for your schedule.
